WTF is wrong with people?

I was watching CNN and they had some Scot Peterson coverage... I wasn't really paying attention (it's a non-story in my mind), but they showed some footage with his mother walking past a crowd with people cheering and someone shouted "I hope they fry your son!"

murderer or not, how could someone be happy about someone else dying? and to express that happiness to the man's mother? that's just kinda disgusting.

While I think he DESERVES to die....

I think a much more fitting punishment would be a lifetime with Bubba.

I could see them saying it to Scott himself, but saying it to his parents is just downright cold. The parents are the ones I feel sorry for, I can't imagine what they are going thru right now.

Tyson was paid 20 million for ONE fight and there are other fights that have been paid similar amounts.

Per Event is not a valid comparison, since with boxing 1 or 2 events per year is about the Max for the upper end of the pay scale.

Per Event is not a valid comparison, since with boxing 1 or 2 events per year is about the Max for the upper end of the pay scale.

Why isn't it? The Fighter is paid PER EVENT.. RIGHT? They are paid an outrageous sum for an average 1.5hrs of fighting.

Shaq and KG have to play 82 games to earn the amount that Tyson earned in ONE FIGHT

Per Event is the only way to determine it..

Future events are not guaranteed for any athelete.
