Netgear MA401 that can't detect the signal from my D-Link router.

What's weird is this:

MA401 detects signal at college, but not at home.
D-Link PCI Wireless Adaptor on my desktop detects signal from the D-Link router, but not my MA401.

They're not telling you to download SP2, just a patch to make your product work. Did you even click the link?

My god. I got owned. I installed the patch, but my wireless card still doesn't work. Guess I'll be writing to Netgear again.

Quick Question: does anybody know of compatibility issues when using a wireless adaptor from one company with a wireless router from a different company?

Ugh, Netgear tech support is horrible. Outsourced to India, and they won't help a damn.

I complained to the BBB, and thats how I finally was able to get my under warranty MA401 replaced.

No compatibility issues at all.

My setup is a Microsoft MN-500 WiFi router, Netgear MA111 for Tivo, Dell TrueMobile 1150 for laptop, Microsoft USB adapter for desktop.

Works just fine using the latest drivers

How long does warranty last for a retail MA401?
