I've got a secondary 30gb HD on my system. I originally created it in win2000, using the disk manager, but then went back to win98. Now the weirdness starts. using a win98 boot disk, it cannot be accessed from dos. Checking the status through fdisk, it says its a fat32 drive. It works in 98, but I cant run scandisk on it or anything because it claims it is unformatted. I installed win2000 again hoping to get it to work but same thing, it says it isnt formatted, and in disk manager it says its a fat16 drive. I tried to convert it to fat32 from win98 thinking it might be a fat16 drive, but it said its already fat32. Now my secondary is 30gb, and my primary is 13gb, so theres no way I could back it up and reformat....so what to do? If at all possible, I would like to get it to work in win2000 again, without resorting to converting to ntfs.
