wtf is wrong with my drives

OK I had major problems with my hard drives.
long story here 😉

I just recently got a 60gb maxtor 7200rpm drive to replace my main system drive that was a 30gb 7200rpm drive. Then I have a secondary 30gb 7200rpm maxtor drive. Anyways what I did first is use norton ghost to clone my main drive to the new 60gb one i got. Then I poped that in my system as my main system drive and kept the secondary 30gb drive. Then I start using it for awhile and notice my computer is realy laging. I couldnt even record audio with out it geting stuck at certain points and having the music skip. So then i think somethings up with the new 60gb drive and I remove it and put my old 30gb main drive back in along with my secondary 30gb still installed. Once I boot up I find that my secondary drive if you try to access it says the drive isnt formated under windows and I'm like wtf it was just working fine. Then I check to see if I still have the lag problems and found that I didnt. Then I decide to to try my new 60gb main drive alone and find that it no longer lags. So i tryed hooking my secondary 30gb drive back up and found the lag had came back and still my partition on it couldnt be accessed windows wants to format it again. No idea what caused these problems as i tested all the hard drives with the maxtor utilities and they all come out as being in perfect shape.

Does anyone know of anyway to get the data back from my secondary 30gb as I had important data on it? It seems the partition is still there just windows cant access it for some reason.
