It randomly just auto-shuts off. I first thought it was because the CPU was overheating, but that cant be it because in the BIOS, the auto overheat turn off thing is disabled. What else could it be?

Yeah, check your power supply. Before, when I used the stock power supply of my Raidmax case, it started to die after awhile. I saw the signs when my computer constantly kept turning off everytime I play games for like an hour. After I changed my PSU, it stopped!

Not providing enough current (Amps), which makes the voltage swing like mad. Either that or overheating, if it is the PSU. Just because your auto-shutdown is disabled doesn't mean that it isn't your CPU. When the CPU screws up badly (and it does screw up badly due to heat) Windows restarts itself. I'd bet on the PSU or the CPU.

Yup, just because you turned off auto-shut off due to excessive heat doesn't mean the computer won't do anything if it is overheating, whether you want it to or not. You should check your CPU temperature and see what that reports.

Also, you should provide more information so people can try to diagnose your problem. If you're overclocking, when it started, what parts you have.. etc. anything that might be remotely helpful.

Precisely. Because without system info we're about as much use as a seance: we're left guessing if he has a FSP 400W PSU, a Pentium-D @whatever temp, & who knows what gfx, RAM etc.

OP: system info please!

haha sry...I very well think it could be the PSU also as it is pretty old. Its an old 300w Antec that I've used for about 5 years. The thing with this computer is everything is new except the CPU and PSU, and the CPU isnt that old(2.5 years about...2600+ Barton). I have done no overclocking. My brother was diagnosing it and he said the voltages werent the "greatest", so perhaps the PSU is the problem.
Looks like I'll go buy another one. Any good PSU deals around?
