I'm driving in to work today and my battery and parking brake lights start flashing. (All 3 videos are links to youtube by the way.)

video 1

Then my ABS and traction control system and airbag lights turn on.

video 2

Now I'm stopped at a light to pull into the parking lot to the office building and my tachometer starts going crazy.

video 3

It's a 2002 Hyundai Santa Fe with 123,000 miles. I'm going to make an appointment with the dealer. We'll see what happens. Have any of you seen anything like this? Sorry the videos are such crappy quality, but my cell phone is all I had on me.

Definitely seems to be electrical. It was hard to tell but it looked like the tach needle was bouncing to the rhythm of the turn signal. Was that the case?

I'd guess either your battery probably has a shorted cell, try measuring the voltage across it.

...notice that your battery light is on in every video?

What Demon said above. Check the voltage across the battery. First thought I had was that it was your alternator but I don't think that would cause the fluctuation.

I tend to say the alternator is bad. That looks to me like a sign of a bad diode or voltage regulator in the alternator. Also, check that the battery cables are nice and tight, same for the drive belt to the alternator.
Let us know what it turns out to be.

The alternator in our Aura went bad, and it exhibiting similar symptoms. The electrical system went absolutely nuts. The alternator ended up blowing up the batter, PCM, and BCM.

Try resetting the computer. Disconnect the negative battery cable, pump the brakes a few times to discharge any electrical buildup and let it set for a few minutes. Reconnect and see what happens.

I called Hyundai and described the problem to them. They think it's the alternator going bad. I'm going to try and drive my car to them today. Hopefully, I make it.

I'd have it done somewhere else. The dealer will definitely charge you a bundle.

Yikes. Hope all of that was covered under warranty.
