I was secretly hoping for a boy first (just to make sure I had at least one) but had a girl and let me tell you I wouldn't change it for ANYTHING. She is now 2 and is incredible. We've since had a boy (now 6 months old) and my girl is still my favorite. It's okay to say that I don't bond too well until the babies are around 9 months.

So yeah

Been a while since i vented here. However the hours i work means that friends are scarce. And the ones i have i am not prepared to vent about this stuff.

My wife is pregnant and we found out its likely to be a girl.

Now i am super thrilled.

However my dear mother in law father in law and sister in law believe in spirits and other hippie crap. (Wife is not a hippie)

They have been hyping me up that they have spoken to their spirits and they firmly believe its a boy.

Shame on me for falling for that crap.

Its a girl.

I am NOT disappointed I just want her to be healthy.

Just had my hopes up. That it was a boy. And had myself convinced.

Fucking hippies.

I guess i am going through the roller coaster of emotions that comes with becoming a parent?

Are you Mayne?

Your only problem is that you live too close to your crazy fucking in-laws. Some thing you can fix.
