I always receive this spam in CAPS that pisses me off. Normally, I would just delete them or filter the word nigeria or congo in my email filtering system. However today I took my time to read it and what a scam this whole email is about. Well anyway, would anyone want to respond to this email for kickers ? Let's setup a @hotmail.com address and see what the responses these guys have about the SPAM. Let's discuss it in the forum and ask intelligent questions and see if they can answer it.

Yes, what I mean is let's mess with them. Report them to the FBI if needed (if we ever find out it is a legitimate scams).

Anyway this is the email that comes to me. The reply address is: nanaseko3@web-mail.com.ar

I always get those.

One time, out of curiousity, I called the number that was listed at the bottom.

A live person answered, thanked me for calling, gave me more details, answered a couple of my questions, and asked for my bank account number.

I laughed at him and hung up.

whatever you do, don't deal with their presidents or elected officials. because they can be rotated out of office in each election. the only ones you can trust are royalty, such as the Prince of Nigeria, if you help him, he will help you

you can trust no one if they get their message out in the form of SPAM.

WTF they ask for your account number, why don't we ask them to send us international check instead ?

If they can find just one idiot, they're rich!

Wilbur Daniels, 67, faces sentencing in September in Washington, D.C., on his 2002 conviction for defrauding the Dupont Park Seventh-day Adventist Church of $1.3 million, which, as church treasurer, he might have taken in a sincere attempt to invest the church's money in what turned out to be a Nigerian Internet scam. Prosecutors said Daniels' earnestness was demonstrated by the fact that he also lost his own life savings in the deal. [Washington Post, 8-11-03]

I just recently have started to get hoarded with these messages. Unfortunately, they are all completely different subjects, content, and senders, so I can't seem to think up a way to make a filter for them. I'm getting literally up to four or five daily, and its quite annoying.

Anyone know of a good way to script a filter these or get off their list? Using Eudora.

When I get these, I send a flame to the ISP's abuse address and get 'em nuked. I know it doesn't matter alot in the grand scheme of things that they've lost an account - they'll just create another one... But I get a great deal of joy out of inconveniencing them for a little while.

Well, I don't think I can block all caps (what if I really do get an important message that's all caps in the subject?), and again, I can't use specific text, because I never get the same message. It seems that each one is unique. Just curious if there is anything consisten people know of that I could definitely block - like a standard IP that they all come from or something.
