My whole family has been waiting for the release of Tomb Raider: Angel of Darkness for almost a year now. Especially my seven year old son who has been tracking the days on the calander.
Except we keep having to erase the calander to change the date!!
First, EB says it will be out in the Fall of 2002. Then they say November. Then it changes to December. Nothing unusual about that so far.
But then they say they've got bugs to work out so it won't be out until a date in early January. Okay, fine, thank you for being conscientious about a quality game.
Then the date is changed to early February. Then late February. Early March and then late March. Changed twice in April as well. Then May 24th. June 10th. June 17th.
It's getting close to June 17th, the date hasn't changed and my son is getting excited. Then today I go to check on it at EBgames and they've changed it AGAIN! Now it's June 24th!
WTF is going on at EB?! I can't imagine they're still working through bugs, and I don't understand why they'd announce a release date for Fall of 2002, then string fans along for all these months while the game is still in beta!
My rant aside, the new TR game looks like it's going to be good! They've made improvments to the gameplay, interacting with characters, etc. Should be fun once they finally release the damn thing!
