In this previous THREAD.....I was just ranting on how my brother(more like his wife) is re-negging on selling me the house.
So driving home today, I see a For Sale sign on a house 3 down from me.
Same SQ. I'd say nicer on the outside and nicer on the inside but relatively the same type of house.(mine is a little bigger 1568sq to 1528sq)
I just got on the NET and my jaw just dropped on the asking price.
$265,000
It was bought back then for $75K.
God damm....I guess I was lowballing my brother all this time.
I thought there is no way the house here are over $200K.
I'm going back and up my offer and see if he's willing to negotiate.
Yes, I know housing are much higher elsewhere but its very high relative to what it was less than 2 yrs ago.
