WTF is up with Steam?

There are no store versions of the game.

Valve hates it's customers, so don't go expecting a quick reply to any email. Give it a few days.

As a general rule, I always by the physical copy. Steam (the program, not valve the company) has thus far treated me well, until this fiasco...
 
Every time I have sent a problem off to Steam it has taken 2-3 business days to get a response. They probably didn't even look at it til Monday. If you haven't heard anything by the end of Wednesday, then it might be off the track.
 
I had a problem with Company of Heroes and they took 1 business day to respond. Give them 1 business day then send another.
 
Have you restarted Steam? Totally kill it and make sure it's not running in the background, then restart Steam. That has fixed all my "game now showing up" problems before.
 
I only had that once, but I think it was sitting in some recently purchased area (tab) and I just had to get the download started. And, like McRhea said, I am pretty sure I restarted Steam.

BTW, make sure you got an email confirming the purchase.
