WTF is up with scammers and craigslist?

Haven't got one real offer yet... but I got 7 different scammers emailing me with offers... all of them are pretty much the same story.. telling me that they are buying it for a relative out of the country as a gift.
FVCK OFF!

I can't believe I found you! After I sent the first $15,000, I had my computer repo'd so I could cover my bills. I have had no chance to collect the $400,320,000 from you yet. Do you still need more money to complete our completely legit business arrangement? If so I might be able to steal some money from the orphanage I work at. Please reply post haste.

When i first started posting on CL earlier this year, I got tons of scammers, but starting a couple months ago, it almost stopped, and that was/is even with me posting many more ads than back when I was getting the scammers. Is it the word verification thing they added that stopped it? Or perhaps the warnings CL posts have scared some off?
I used to put text at the very top of all my ads that I knew what a scammer was and won't have any part of it, blah blah, but now I quit posting any of that.
Anytime I got a scammer, I'd simply reply with a 'fvck off, scammer'.
