wtf is up with hotmail?

Before anyone says "hotmail sux0rz, gmail pwnz" let me say I'm aware of this.

I'm expecting an email and since about 8:15 this morning you get this wonderful message when going to hotmail.com:

Server Too Busy.

We are experiencing higher than normal volume and are therefore unable to service your request at this time. Try one of the following:

* In your browser, click Refresh
* In your browser, click Back, and try again
* Wait a few minutes and try again

We apologize for this inconvenience.

Can you use mail.live.com? My Office Live account was changed over to Live Webmail a few months ago, so I logged in there when I got the message this morning, but I think you can still log into regular hotmail from there.

WHY DO YOU SUCK?!

That happens with them from time to time. Really, you shouldn't rely on them.
Also, I find email takes longer to show up with hotmail than with other sites.

I think they are upgrading their mail system. When I finally got into my mail box I notice the storage has gone up to 1000mb. I haven't check my hotmail account in over a month, not sure if this is new.

Yay! Back up. About fvckin time. My mailbox is also upgraded to 1000mb.

EDIT: It's taking about 4 years to open my 600kb attachment though.

"Hmmm, We Can't Find that Page...

I remember when they went from 10MB to 200MB things were god awful - couldn't access my email consistently for months.

Luckily I do use GMail for most things.

I'd be happy to go back to 10MB on hotmail if it would just work.
