Like Eos said, it's a conspiracy. Therefor all proof has been destroyed by the conspirators.

Seriously though, every amazon order I have made in the last few years always takes at a minimum of 3 days to "process". Every order. So...

and just checking the site they promise a 4-7 days for delivery window for standard shipping right?

Delivery is different than processing. So 4-7 days delivery AFTER the 3-5 days of processing.

but you knew this going in to it right? They didn't pull a fast one on you?

Of the delivery time... yes. Of the 3+ days of "processing" before the delivery time? No.

So I order product X from amazon with a 4-7 day delivery time and it takes a minimum of 7 days with processing.

I order same product from Newegg with their shitty saver shipping which is also 4-7 days and I get it in 4 days minimum.

At least that has been my experience for several years of shopping at each place. If I don't care when I get it and the price is right, I go to amazon. If I need to see it in a week I go anywhere else.

Minimum of 7 calendar days, which is 5 business days, which is on the lower end of their quoted 5-8 business days?

if they advertise 5-8 business days, why don't they execute better and make it 3-6 instead? I want it free and I want it now. ;)

How is that Amazon's fault? Did their non-Prime customer anti-service division call the post office and tell them to hold your package?

How did they know it would be held there? They offered me the quick shipping if I signed up for prime, or gave me the option to wait five or six days with regular shipping.

It shipped from their warehouse right away, only to be delayed for days somewhere else. How in the world would Amazon know that it was going to be held up in the second location before the item shipped initially if they had no part of the shipping process? I can only assume that me not being a prime customer boots me to the end of the line at every level.
