veteran's day holiday is tomorrow, tuesday. many schools have decided to close both today and tomorrow, for the long weekend.

my mom retired at 55, so my kids will be there tomorrow. i dont get the day off. the owner bitches about working on vet day since hes a vet. i keep reminding him its his policy, he can change it when he wants to.

I keep getting 17 year old girls from a local vocational technical high school every Monday morning. They're supposed to 'shadow' me as I give them information regarding my profession at the hospital. For 4 hours I go through this.

The college nursing students are way better looking and have a personality. They can have an actual conversation versus the occasional grunts I get from the high schoolers.

My college has it off. I know some schools in Oregon don't though.. unless they changed it this year o_O
