Uhhhh I REALLY hope that all of you aren't just purely turning off the Messenger service. The simple fact that you are able to receive messages from the internet through the Messenger service means you are vulnerable to a wide variety of other attacks. A firewall such as ZoneAlarm or TinyFirewall would definitely be in order.
