My gf went to get her hair done, so I dropped her off and went over the the Applebees next door.
I figured I'd have a few beers and eat while I waited.

So five beers later I have to use the bathroom.
Come to find out that all the bathrooms in the entire place are out of order.

Is it not illegal to serve food without working facilites? I wonder what the health department would have to say.

I had to go to the grocery store next door.

I'm pretty sure the health code says that if you serve food you must have working facilities.

employees wouldn't be able to wash their hands, say if they sneezed or something (not that they do in the first place)?

i think its illegal if its out for a long time, but things happen though, i'm sure a week won't hurt. I konw for sure that restaurants should have restrooms and they should be clean, but as far as being out of order, pipes might be bad?

I dunno, they could use the argument that they're on the premises, they're just not working. I don't know if it's required that they work necessarily, but just that they're there.

Reminds me of the last time I was coming back to South FL from Orlando and our two car loads of CO-ED people decided to stop to take a piss stop, we get there and its a mad house since it was a holiday weekend and the damn water is out in the womens bath room, so as I go to take a leak in the mens its just as full of women waiting for stalls, was a very strange experience.

I'm pretty sure it's illegal in my area. I've been to places that served food that had to close because their bathrooms were out of order.

I would assume they have an employee restroom (& if not, sinks) in the back.

Dropping her off would entail driver her home, right? Were you planning on her driving on the return trip?

My sobriety has nothing to do with this argument
