There's like...this white, gooey looking stuff on a patch of wires inside. I've never noticed it before until I was connecting my headphones. It's not dripping down on anything.

It's usually just glue/silicone to help keeps wires managed/covered.

White is fine. It's a silicon or epoxy to hold components together during shipping.

Brown goo is NOT good - that's usually a leaking capacitor.
