WTF is this Chinese food dish?

I ordered chicken chow mein and they fucked it up and this is what they gave me instead. I have no clue what the dish is called. The meat is chicken and those are onions and not sure what those green veggies are called but they are pretty standard in stir fry and stuff. It's in water and almost like a thick soup, and it came with wonton crisps too.

So anyone know what this dish is?

It actually doesn't taste half bad either, it's just weird. Thankfully they give you that tub of white rice when you order shit for free cause otherwise I would have had nothing to eat my sesame steak with.

It may be some kind of noodle made by rice, and the vegetable is celery.

I've showed this to like 10 friends and no one has any clue wtf it is lol. I should have called the immediately but I didn't do that. All I did was think I didn't want to go to the store even though it's like 1/4 mile away, because the whole point of me ordering delivery was so I didn't have to put my son in the car and go get it since he was already in PJ's.

Holy shit okay thank you. So I guess they did give me the right stuff. They also have lo mein there but I wanted chow mein because I like the texture better. I didn't realize it was noodle-less.

It's the leftovers and edge bits from previous customers orders. Instead of scraping it into the trash they instead put it in a bowl and warmed it up for you.

Yeah I've often got goopy braised meat & veges with a side of noodles as chow mein.

That way you can add the noodles as you like so it's all goop or keep them kinda crispy on the side.

That's what chicken chow mien looks like in the greater NYC metro area. I've never seen it any other way, and I've never seen it with noodles, it's over rice. If you want a somewhat similar dish with noodles you order lo mein.

It's not noodles that came with it on the side, it's these types of wonton crisps.
