yep + the fgfilter thing and dynamic.anandtech.com blocked. Haven't seen an ad on here yet that can get past that.

It sucks! It wouldn't let me go back, refresh or ANYTHING!

This just ain't right.... :Q :|

I already posted to Forum Issues....nothing yet....

It's BS though...the statusbar is interesting...tracks your mouse coordinates. I am thinking they have a faulty script running on the ad.

I think you're right. I ran Spybot S&D and cleaned everything up then this AGAIN! :|

Go to Add/Delete programs and poke around... Once in a while they sneak something in there.

The quality of banners has gone down sharply as well. Instead of computer related stuff I'm getting ones telling me to give up my cell phone number, one to buy a new Pokemon DVD, and one telling my that I am a WINNAR.

flashblock is also a must as far as I'm concerned. flash is responsible for some the best and worst web content ever created.

I see your problem. It's that little blue icon in the top-left corner of your window. That's not a Firefox icon. ;)

The title bar also says Internet Explorer :p.

It probably isn't neccessarily IE, just spyware that is developed to exploit IE instead of FF.
(more idiots use IE, idiots are more suceptible to ads like this... )

I bet FF has some vulnerabilities as well...

I am currently using IE6 on my laptop with no ads.. and am using Ie7 beta on pc with no ads.. (as well as ff with no ads)

I suspect user fault.

No way, that can't happen. All the nerds on here think FireFox is godsent. There's no way it could have problems! OH NOES!!!

I've been using IE since the mid 90's and I've never had a single problem with it. I'm currently using IE 7 - I think it's RC1? And it's been working great. Never understood the people who have problems with IE.
