So the entire family called this evening and was asking me why I hadn't called to make plans for the 'trip' tomorrow

I had heard nothing of said trip.:|

I told everybody that I had to work and that if I had been told in advance I would ahve been able to. Turns out my Dad forgot to remind me about it....for liek a week:|

Now he is pissed at me for being pissed at him for tellign me at THE WORST FVKIGN TIME IMAGINABLE, and the entire family thinks I am a dick for not going and possibly getting fired from work:|

My fiancee's mother is like that. She has to get up at like 3am on Saturday/Sunday to go to work, her mother intentionally holds off making dinner until VERY late (like 10-11pm) and then wakes her up to eat, not caring that she has to be up in like 4 or 5 hours for a long shift. Annoys the hell out of me, but not my family yet so I can't say much.

Oh this thread is very similar to what I am going to be experiencing soon. My wife, son and I are moving from hawaii back home to NY soon, and will be living a stones throw away from my parents. Haven't been home in over 8 years, so I can see this happening to me very soon.
