Except in some countries it's much more acceptable to use. Really, if words get you all worked up, you probably shouldn't be around other people. Long as you're willing to accept the consquences.

Like the n-word; you call me one to my face, I'm probably gonna smash yours in, but you've certainly got every right to use it, so long as you accept what happens after. :D

Why is any word bad? It's because it has a connotation attached to it. A four letter word for a woman that ends in "unt" that doesn't start with an "a" is like the most despicable thing you can call a woman.
