This can't be real.

It is. Do some searching on Digg... Just saw this and several other similar videos there with explanations and whatnot as to exactly what the parasites are. Very real, and obviously not a threat to humans.

Great, now I have the willies🙁

Same here 🙁...back in highschool bio our teacher told us about these worms in Africa, that you can get by walking around barefoot, they eat up into your body and eventually get into your brain. Now I always wear shoes outside 🙁

And there's this worm that does the same thing to a either cows or sheeps.
I forget all those amazing details how this worm gets into sheeps or cows brains but it was amazingly smart.

In addition to my previous post about sheep controling parasite and its procesure for that, check out:

http://72.14.253.104/search?q=cache:yM2...ver+fluke+ant+snail&hl=ko&ct=clnk&cd=2

What's amazing is that once these flukes go into ants' system. They separate themselves to gain control over each parts of ants body.
Some goes to the leg to gain control, some goes to the brain to gain control. Once it gains control, it's believed that they can even see through the eyes of ants.

That's not mind control!

You'd act strange too if you had 50' of living firehose up your ass. That's close enough to proportions.

Either way.

BTW if anyone wants to get more info it's called the Gordian worm. Disgustingly amazing. Also, youtube has the same vid.

That ****** is gross.

Excuse my language there.

I'm all itchy now

EDIT: Thanks Wikipedia!
In Spinochordodes tellinii, which has grasshoppers as its vector, the infection acts on the grasshopper's brain and causes it to seek water and drown itself, thus returning the nematomorph to water.
