WTF is that noise coming out of my speakers when I'm on my cell phone?

That crap is annoying as hell. It's extremely loud and it's just a bunch of retarded noise. WTF is it?

I just get a weird buzzing whenever I get an incoming call, but it helps me answer the phone quicker b/c the buzzing begins even before the ringer goes off :)

When I had my Nextel I could answer the phone before it even rang because of the interference it made.

My Motorola V.60 does the same thing.

Well the phone does have a transmitter, just be happy it's only the phone and not the HAM up the street coming through everything electrical, sounding like donald duck.

My Nextel does that to me when I'm at home. Didn't know what it was at first but then I noticed it was the cell phone. Nextel Sucks but work pays for it. Oh well.

Happens with my AT&T TDMA phone as well. It's louder the closer the phone is to my subwoofer (which contains the amp for the other speakers).

That's a funny coincidence because I was thinking about making a post concerning this phenomenom earlier today. I can always tell when I'm driving I am about to get a call because of the interference too.

I know what you mean it's so annoying. Even if I leave my cell phone near the speakers I will get that noise. For a while I couldn't figure it out and it drove me crazy.

How did you get through life until this point without knowing cell phones can cause interference with other appliances?

that's why they make you turn off cells during takeoffs and landings ;)

I've become used to buzzzz it lets me know about 2 seconds before I'm going to recieve a call.

The sound of your brain frying.

Is caused by the speakers picking up the signal from ur phone.
