That is not even close to the "superfly" look that the B9 has. No bug eyes and horizontal lines.

Edit, the STI has a "cobra" (the snake) look, not like some housefly. 😀

I dislike the B9...but the new grill on the Impreza is sexy
 
Saw the thread title and immediately knew it would be about that aweful grill. I have emailed them about that from their website too and encourage anyone else to do so also.
 
you guys wont stop it from happening.

their new designer is from Alfa Romeo

he basically is stealing the alfa front grille and putting it on all subbies.

it supposedly looks much better in person.

Agreed. Not seen in person, but I like the pic. The B9 is a tragedy, but the new Impreza looks good.
 
Saw a new STi on the road yesterday. The front end doesn't look that horrible in person.. but the rear.. OMG. BARF.

What's wrong with the rear? All they did was alter the taillights a little, give them LEDs, and I think modified the wing a little.
 
I really like the new Impreza, though it makes me sad to hear they're doing it to the Legacy. 🙁 The current Legacy is gorgeous.

Saw a Tribeca on the road the other day, I really like it as well.

Then again I'm not sure what Subaru does that I don't like.
