Wtf is "stat"?

Good news: I don't have to take calc2 to graduate in the spring.

Bad news: I have to take Stat1 instead.

Can someone please tell me wtf stat is and why I should/shoudln't be afraid?

Anyone taken it? Advice?

If it were me, I'd go the calc2 route (the equivalent of which I did in fact take when I was in college).
