WTF is permanent makeup?

My Highschool art teacher had eyeliner tattooed on as well as lipliner. She also had nipples tattoed on after her breasts were removed due to breast cancer. She showed them to any female student who asked. In retrospect, this seems like the oddest thing ever, but back then it seemed fine.

Eww. I dont really like women with lots of makeup as it is, now they can stay that way permanently?

most people get their eyebrows tattooed. SOme have their eyebrows and eyelids done as well. And yes, you can even get it on your lips so you don't have to line your lips every morning. It is convenient for most people but I personally have never got them done. However, all my aunties and even cousins have them done all the time and you have to go get it touch up once every 4 years or something.

yeah a chick i went out with had tattoed eyebrows. i never really noticed the eyebrows till after a month or so

The eyebrows can be fairly common, especially with asian friends I've known (well actually, the mothers of asian friends). Kinda weird to think they'd pluck the eyebrows so often that they never grew back, and THEN got a tattoo to replace them.

Oh well, who said make-up has to make sense.

I've had a friend who got the eyeliner tattooed on...she said it hurt like he!!, and then came off maybe a week later. Fun times.
