wtf?! is Hedberg alive?

so i hear these jimmy john's sandwiches spots on the radio. and i figure it's some guy trying to sound like Mitch Hedberg. I mean, they can't get him to do it...cause he's dead. Today i hear a knew one, and the guy says "this is mitch hedberg." WTF?!
i thought it was an april fools joke when he died. Is he really alive? is jimmy john's just that dastardly that they'd invoke the voice of a dead man to hock sandwiches?

i figured that on the first one. apparently there were several recorded for this ad campain. it's really creepy that they waited this long to release this new spot. especially since the previous ones didn't say "this is mitch hedberg". creepy.

sandwich commercials from beyond the grave? If anyone would come back from the dead to do something as trivial as sandwich commercials, it's mitch.

I thought maybe it was an april fools joke and i never heard about it. really though a song from a dead guy and a commercial spot from one are two different things. guess jimmy john's just couldn't afford to throw the ad money down the drain. kind of bad taste, but kinda funny too.
