Things are really F***** up.....the rouge warrior by Rich.ard Marchi.nko gave me some insight to this...he was a former seal and the founder of team 6...he sounds like a really great guy

EDIT: why is Rich.ar.d Marc.hi.nko a censored word???

right thats what im saying... i dont think it came from vietnam like the person i quoted... but thanks though

the only wwII cussing acronyms I'm aware of (and I knew these before ever seeing Saving Private Ryan) are SNAFU and FUBAR. Funny thing is that in my creative writing class that I took in the Fall, more than half of my class (most of these were college seniors. I was one of the few college juniors) didn't know what FUBAR meant >.>

Charlie Foxtrot is more modern, and that could've originated in Vietnam....but I have NO knowledge of whether that is true or not.

Cut and paste😉 (u changed to v)

FUBAR:

Failed UniBus Address Register - in a VAX, from Digital Equipment
Corporation Engineering.

Fvcked Up Beyond All Recognition/Repair - From US Military in
World War II. Sometimes sanitized to "Fouled Up ...".

FUBARD - Past tense of FUBAR.

YGBSM comes from Vietnam I think.

Story goes:

The first "wild weasel" anti-SAM units were informed what tactics they would be employing against enemy SAM units. The tactics were on the b@llsy side. One pilots immediate reaction was "you gotta be sh!tting me."
