I'm seeing Arthur toys, cereal, cartoons..it never ends. I've asked a lot of people what he is and here are some of the answers. BTW, what the hell is he, really?

Secondly, Arthur is probably 10 years old. He's an anteater, IIRC. Yes, I know he looks nothing like one.

Actually, you are not far from wrong. The earlier Arthur books had him with a long snout, looking quite aardvark like. The author changed the look for TV. Suppose it was to make the character more human in appearance.

Arthur is a kid's character but of course. My 3 year old loves his "Arthur's Birthday" software.
