WTF is an airsoft loadout?

Looks like a fun hobby but it's way too easy to make fun of the people who take it too far. There's always those people in any hobby, though.
 
heck yeah, and sometimes, in other countries, they get famous for it lol... Since when did people get paid for gaming? haha
 
Heh, reminds me of my Air Force days. When I worked in the Operations section there were 4 of us in one large room with desks and our superintendants (3) and ops officer had offices that led into our open area. All eight of us had airsoft guns and battles would just break out of nowhere.

Really fucking good times.

It was funny because we all had paintball masks we kept under our desks (had to, our Ops Officer went to a meeting with the commander with a red welt under his eye from getting shot in the face). Alot of times there would be one of us actually doing work while a battle was going and they'd just sit at their desk with their tac vest with plates on, paintball mask on just sitting there working like nothing was happening.

Occasionally our battle would head out of the office and down to our 4 investigations guys who also had their own airsoft guns.

Good times. Really makes me miss those days.

I quit airsoft until they came out with Gas Blow Back Rifles. I just shoot them 'cause it's fun to do so. Took my friends to an indoor field for fun. Got shot up in Terminator mode. It was a painful, yet enjoyable experience! One of my friends got hit in the finger and started bleeding big time, and started complaining.. what a cry baby lol.
 
My little brother in law (12) is really into airsoft. Him and my father in law are going this weekend. They keep saying how much fun it is and invited me to go. So I guess I'm going to play airsoft for the first time this weekend! I'm a bit excited. I guess I can rent guns at the place I go to. I've played paintball before a few times and it was fun, so I figure I'll enjoy this too.
 
I wouldn't say way better than paintball, because people in airsoft wont call their "hits" Paintball, it's harder to wipe off the paint hit you!

I run into that at the local CQB place...problem playing with kids who would rather cheat than play fair. Only thing to do is keep shooting. 😛

Yeah I was being sarky when I posted it. Someone had just posted that pic in another thread about daily carries so I thought Id take the piss a bit but I was obviously too subtle. I cant remember who posted it first. :hmm:
