I just got a call today asking to come in for a 2nd interview with a supervisor. It's for an engineering intern position and I'm still in college. Is it along the lines of the first interview where they ask me about my resume, schoolwork, etc?

Update:
Against my better judgment, I went. It wasn't an interview and turned out to be a job offer so they got me this time. I knew I shouldn't have went. In celebration, I did a line of coke. Now they want me to take a physical. I don't think I'm gonna fall for their bluff this time.

Hopefully it's a urine test because I'm afraid of needles.
 
you are now in tier 2 of the prospected candidates

I had to go through 3 tiers to get my job, sorta depends on the pool i guess

haha well that's pretty much all it is - this was one of the, uh, more obvious questions that's been asked on here.
 
I hate when they do that... making a 2nd effort with the same company... just have them all interview you on the same day damnit... it's not like they have interviews filled 8-5.

I had a 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th interview with Amazon a few months ago. Either their on the fence about you and want a second opinion, or they didn't have all the people/time available to have a thorough interview.

Well my first one lasted almost two hours. I think I demonstrated that I had a gist of a few programs (arcmap, autocad, excel) and I don't really know what else they would need to know.

My first interview lasted around an hour, and I got screened by a few different people individually. My second interview was around 45 minutes and I was interviewed straight by 2 people.
