WTF??!? Internet Explorer URL Icon changes after playing the origional Red Alert - very interesting...

I bought RA2, and after experienceing some nostaglia, I installed the origional Red Alert and played it for I while.

Today, after I played RA and am using the internet, I noticed the little icon by the URL in IE has changed to the red alert icon - ie... the communist symbol.

is this just a bug or is it Microsoft's scheme to turn the US population into commies?

Download tweakui, install it, then run it from the control panel. Go to the repair tab, choose Repair Icons from the list, then click Repair now.

Problem should be solved.

That happens to me all the time in 98, not in 2k though.

 

Same here, ltk. Win98 sucks when it comes to those icons. They come and go (mostly just go) as they please.

Same here. I keep using tweakui to get rid of them because they get on my nerves.
