At KFC in the UK (which is somewhat different to KFC in the US), I'm pretty damn sure that the size of the meat part of the chicken fillet burger has gone from "I have difficulty getting the largest part of the burger in my mouth to chew off a piece" to "that's the smallest chicken breast I've ever seen", in approximately the last 14 years.

My weight was the same then as it is now before anyone makes any comments along those lines

It has actually gotten smaller, at least here in Germany. There was even some big discussion about it. Well I was never a fan of the BigMac anyway. Tastes to bland for me, as I prefer ketchup and mustard over mayonnaise on a burger. McRib for the win ;-)

I do find McDonalds portions rather small, I'm always still hungry after a combo and I'm not even that big an eater. I find Wendy's is a bit more filling.

Come to think of it I have not had McDonald's in a while. We have Harvey's now, so if I'm at that end of town I end up getting that instead.

I need 2 Big Macs and fries to fill me up. I'm only 155lbs - 1 is simply not enough. Thankfully the McD's app frequently has B1G1 free. It does wreak havoc on your body though. So I read.

You're doing it wrong. Download the McD app. I got a grand mac for a buck (any sandwich for a dollar via mobile order) and when I got there to pick it up I used the free med fry with any purchase of $1 or more for free fries. (Ordered a drink for a buck to get the deal.) Med fry, med drink and the biggest burger they sell for $2. Almost get your monies worth for that much.
