I was @ a stoplight the other day & the 2 cars to my sides as well as the drivers in front & in back of me were all talking on their cell phones, none of the idiots were using headsets either

Well, considering drunks are actually less of a threat than people on cell phones (I believe there was a thread about that article on ATOT)... swervers are pretty friggin common in my area...

You have them... the idiotic people that drag @$$ everywhere causing a wall of traffic behind them... those freakshows that cut corners right into your lane nearly running you off the road... those that play chicken with the center double yellow line... and the ocassional ricer that attempts to dart in and out of traffic despite their lack of horsepower to pass anything.

I've seen a ton of people every day on the way to work on a particular onramp which is also a U-turn. Fewer and fewer people single left and merge to NOT take the full U-turn but more and more rather just cut you off by crossing the white solid areas right before the curb seperating U-turn and merge onto highway. I've been nearly sideswiped more than a few times by idiots who play chicken with the curb instead of signalling and moving into the merge.

Signaling before making lane changes seems to "give away your next move" in the battle that is traffic according to some people. I see more and more evidence of it everyday. And I had a cop pull me... ME over for it... this is despite the fact that I signal lane changes or any turn religiously. My brother was a witness so it would have been cops word against two people... methinks he was just hassling me because he was bored.

Hey Goose I see you are dealing with the same crap I deal with on a daily basis here in wonderful traffic choked Northern Virginia. Not only are the drivers incompetent but VDOT is clueless in dealing with the type of traffic we have here. I can feel my blood pressure increasing just thinking about it. It has gotten to the point where my weekend goal is to not move my vehicle from the time I arrive home Friday until Monday morning at 5AM.

I think it's totally awesome that everyone on ATOT is smarter than average, has a bigger penis, is taller and stronger than average, got better scores on SATs, and has a faster car than anyone.

Oh yeah, they are also the best drivers in the world.

Something that happened to me about 2 months ago:

I was going a little under 50 on a 45 road, coasting to a lower speed due to a school zone up ahead. There are 2 cars ahead of me, and at least 1 car coming from the opposite direction, fairly far ahead but still there. It is a no-passing zone due to hilly terrain. Suddenly this fvcktard comes up behind me at about 70 and whips by me and everyone ahead of me, and cuts off the car at the front to avoid a head-on collision with the car in the opposite lane.

That really pissed me off. :|

I feel you man. Just tonight at a stop this car edged its way out all the way and it wasn't even it's turn to go yet. It had this 500 lbs Samoan guy just staring my ass down like he was gonna eat me for dinner because I was gonna turn when it was MY FRIGGEN TURN.

I am probably NOT the best driver in the world. I drive a 1990 Hinda Accord LX and a 95 Isuzu Rodeo by the way


I am however an EXCELLENT driver. Just because 95% of the world sucks at driving does not mean I will be lumped into that category.
