I weighed myself in the morning and I was 227.5 and I just weighed myself right now (wearing more clothes than I was in the morning) and the scale read 220. I used the scale on the same surface as the morning also.

I guess I was retaining a ton of water. :)

Agreed. Likely water-weight.

Always better to weigh yourself at approximately the same time each day for an accurate measurement.

I should add that I just got back from a boiling hot nightclub, so I might have also had the added bonus of steaming off the pounds. :)

My weight fluctuates about +/- 5lbs (or more) in different days of a week, even when I measure it at the same time

At least he's doing something about it... (Which is more than I can say for myself a lot of the time :p)

Agreed, SD2k1... I have no facts to support this conclusion, but since over 40% of the American population is considered medically 'obese', I can't help but question how many users here are 'obese', especially considering the insanely high post counts some of these people have in a relatively short period of time...

while i agree that there are many factors to consider, i stand by my conclusion that he is probably fat...however loosely you want to interpret that word.

Did you check that you still have all you extremities? You're not missing a foot or hand?

1 ounce of water = 1 fl. oz (fluid ounces are a measure of volume, not weight btw).

128 fl oz of water = 128 oz = 8 lbs :)
