Hello, sorry if this is the wrong forum, but I am really confused. My friend who lives about 15 min away took the cnet test on comcast and got over 2x as high as my score (~3000kbps) what is wrong with my connection? THanks

It's a shared network. If you want dedicated you have to pay for it. I'm afraid it's a lot more than you want to pay for. There's alternatives down the road and depending on where you live you may get them in a few months to a few years!
great. i dont mmorpg or online game much, but its great for bittorrent and going on the web and download from usenet and i dont see any slowdown. i mainly got it for the ethernet ports and wireless router in one, so i dont need to use my linksys router and my gigabit switch and consume more power and more cables and adapters and less outlet strip ports
