WTF...HyperX PC3000=Kingston PC 2700???

I tried to run CPU-Z .My Kingston HyperX PC3000 appeared as Kingston PC 2700...WTF, kingston is no different than OCZ and GEIL then-picking their better rams and classifying/advertising/selling them as "one notch higher"...
Any inputs????

im wondered with what i saw using cpu-z that's why i asked for inputs.... im asking for IDEAS not any nonsense stupid , childish replies...

"i thought you were a nice fellow YIELD, i guess i was wrong... tskkk,tskk - 10,000+ post, im wondering if more than half of it were helpful to someone here.."

After reading this thread 3 times, I still have no clue.

I think he doesn't understand that any RAM sold above PC2700 (i.e. PC3200) is YMMV. There is no standard yet set...although I know Crucial and Samsung are now producing PC3200 that will meet the new standard, whenever JDEC? JEDC? gets around to it.

So in otherwords, anything called PC3X00, is overclocked PC2700.

Actually I could have sworn that many of the PC3200 modules use 5ns chips which would make them 200MHz DDR PC3200... its just that JDEC does not recognize a new standard. Most PC2700 runs on 6ns ram, and there are PC3000+ modules that use "hand picked" 6ns ram. Also I do believe that most vendors/manufacturers will honor a return should the module not reach its suggested/advertised speed.
