WTF... how do I remove partitions on a USB key?

control panel -> administrative tools -> computer management -> disk management.

you should be able to do it from disk manager in windows XP or 2000 Computer Management.

Nope. Under computer management, delete partion is grayed out. This key is SURE it's a 119 MB drive and my OS is SURE that the 1.4Mb partion on it is another friggin floppy drive

General Hardware or Peripherals would have worked.

I've never seen a pen drive with a partition on it. I would try some type of partition software like Partition Magic.
