WTF! Fedexing a PVC pipe??

I just dropped off a package at Fedex and a guy appeared to be Fedexing about a 10' to 12' section of 4" PVC pipe. The ends weren't capped or anything, so it couldn't have been protecting anything...

WTF?

are you sure there wasn't a poster rolled up inside? capping the ends wouldn't have been necessary. maybe just a little tape once he got up to the counter.

Poster or blueprints were inside, I've seen it done before. It's smart, totally indestructable, good for really important stuff.

Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiicoooooooooooooooooooooooolaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa...

it was posters, probably headed for my office 😛

when i order posters for advertising bands i book, i get 400 posters, and they are really thick poster board. they are shipped in a PVC pipe so the ends, and corners are not bent or folded in anyway. becasue they dont roll easily, they usually 2-3 inch pipe.
