I saw the same sign today

You are clearly the superior nef though, you took pics!

I was driving and was like WTF!?! I gotta take a pic of that. Took out the trusty cell phone and cleeeek.

My friend's dad was following a tow truck (highway, 55mph-ish) once...the hook somehow detached from the pneumatic (sp?) arm & flew through his windshield...passenger side.

Luckily no one was riding in the passenger seat at the time...or it would've been certain death.

The poitn of this story is...this kind of sh!t does happen!

I am gonna get a shirt that says "Not responsible for breaking your face if you come within 25 feet"

Warning - Stay 500 feet away from car at all times. Not responsible for driver acting negligently.

Who's fault is it if a rock flies up from under a truck's tire and cracks your windshield, then? The drivers?

What happens if YOUR car flings up a rock and hits the car behind you? Is that your fault?

While trucks certainly throw more rocks up in the air, smaller cars and even motorcycles do it as well, certainly not by any particular action of thier drivers.

I've had a windshield cracked by rocks before, and although it sucks, I've basically attributed it to an "act of god" and taken my losses.

It appears as though that truck may carry debris. It is their job to ensure their cargo is secure.

Agreed. Since my picture wasn't the best you can't see the rocks resting above the top of truck. If you were close and this thing was on the highway it could easily be blowing rocks at you. That is the drivers fault. They shouldn't load rocks and crap that is going to go flying off.
