HAHA, WTF?
http://www.nbc17.com/midatlant...N-2007-10-09-0015.htmlJOHNSTON COUNTY, N.C. -- A Johnston County man today is behind bars after investigators said he belted two students and slapped the principal at South Johnston High School.
Billy Ray Anderson, 38, of Meadow, has been charged with two counts of assault, one count of assault on a school official, second-degree trespassing and communicating threats, according to Tammy Amaon, spokeswoman for the Johnston County Sheriff?s Office.
?It was just random,? Amaon said. ?He did not have children at the school.?
Shortly after 9 a.m. Tuesday, Anderson, who lives on Bryant Pond Road, allegedly walked into the school?s chorus room, took off his belt, and began hitting two students on the legs. Anderson then slapped the principal, who was responding to a teacher?s cries for help.
The school resource officer assigned to the school was in training, but another deputy on a nearby patrol had Anderson in cuffs within four minutes of the 911 emergency calls.
About 20 minutes before he showed up at the school, Anderson allegedly had threatened workers at the Johnston County Landfill on Highway 210 near Smithfield, Amaon said. Apparently, he used his truck to block the landfill?s entrance and yelled at workers.
?They asked him to move and he lost it,? she said. ?He threatened them and sped off.?
Anderson?s family told investigators he had a mental health condition and had not been taking his medication. According to Amaon, he currently is at the Johnston County jail, but is being transferred to the Safe Keeping Prison in Raleigh so he?ll ?have better supervision.?
