OK, here I am listening to a song and suddenly boom, there is no sound! I'm like WTF, I check the speaker cables and I even hooked them up to a laptop, so speakers are fine. But I can't get my sound card to work! I mean it's halfway working, but only when I go to properties and "Test" it. However, even then only REAR speakers work and the front speakers are dead silent, but I know they work, because I hooked up the front speakers to the laptop. There is NO exclamation mark anywhere in Device Manager and all applications see that the sound is there (Winamp plays, but no sound, the same with 3DMark 2001 demo or Windows Media Player). WTF? Did my sound card just died?
