They say they wont charge my credit card, which of course i believe as this is a reputable site... But still,

I am rather careful about who I give my CC info to. If it is that important for you to post there then you have to follow their TOS. If not, then don't. I wouldn't.

Considering the site, I don't think it's that big of a deal. I can see why they would want some verification.

What happens when the site is hacked and all of the CC info is stolen? I'd have to really want to post to hand over this info for "verification."
