WTF! Dell cancelled 1/2 my order!

Stupid Dell.... I had a Dellf coupon for a $1 LCD/TV with a Dimension purchase. I purchased the computer and it came with a free printer. The computer has arrived, but they cancelled my order for the TV, and no printer!

Sent them off an email, and I'm going to call tomorrow (although talking to an Indian shouldn't be any fun). Anyone else had this happen to them?
 
If they don't give you your TV, I say return everything and cancel your order. Might as well not let them make a cent from you.
 
They did it to me and sent me an e-mail explaning the dellf system was compromised blah blah blah. Basically I had to e-mail them my name, coupon code, and address. No biggie

OH, I also didn't get the printer when the package arrived. I was wondering about that...
 
Did you use a Home code or an EPP code?

A lot of people who aren't qualified to use the EPP codes tried anyway and they have had the same thing happen to them.

Yeah, it's a EPP coupon, but I did put down my company's name! So what now do I do with a computer but no printer/TV? Do I get a refund? Will they send me the other stuff? 😕

Dispute the charge and keep the computer.
 
i was early to hop on this deal, got a dim 3000, the lcdtv, and two aio922 printers for 400 shipped 🙂 my friend did the same thing but returned his pc and kept the monitor for $1, this is doable because they assign the monitor a diff order number

I don't know, but according to Dell it takes 2 months to ship a USB flash drive that was listed as 4-5 days and promised in 10.

If you are qualified to use the coupon, call Dell and raise hell.

If you aren't qualified to use the coupon, then return the computer and get a refund.
 
Talked to someone at Dell.... gave me some speech about how the Dellf system was compromised & people played too much (was this really a surprise?). Supposedly they are going to call me back. If I don't hear anything, I'm going to complain to my CC company and contest the charges.

I really want that LCD/TV.... wonder if I'll end up getting it, or getting shafted? Hooray for Dell!
 
i hope you are not a frequent buyer who ebay's off dells not intended for resale because there have been cases on FW where they got into trouble and was banned from ordering from dell.

Nope, this would be my 2nd order ever off of Dell... concurrently it may be my last.
