Ordered a part last Tuesday. Today I still hadn't received a shipping notice so I checked the status. Still in Step2. Step 3 says +1 day till ship and step 4 says +1 day for ship. So even if it progressed a processing step today, it won't ship till Friday... Thursday if I'm lucky. 🙁 So I called the 800 number to see if there was something funky with my order.... Busy. WTF! A busy signal?
 
Paid via Visa, order has been processed with my bank and charged to my account. All of Newegg's verifications say "Good" so I can't figure what the hold up is. Item was and still is "In stock".
 
They were a little slow on shipping my order this week, too. Although they are still pretty damn fast. I wouldn't give up on them so easily.

it sucks.

I've really cut back on NewEgg because the taxes + high shipping have begun to make their prices higher than other online hardware stores.
 
I ordered an NV Silencer Monday and got it today. Where's your order being shipped from? Mine came from New Jersey.

From? No idea. It's being shipped to MN. Usually I have absolutely no problem with the 'Egg, but this is kinda ridiculous. If this was from the FSFT forum I'd be callin' troll.
 
i've only had newegg beat my every expectation, even the expectations i have of them for being newegg.

*shrugs* sucking, hope they take care of stuff soon.
 
I ordered a new mini-puter on Monday, woulda been here today but i wasn't here to sign for the f*cking package! Oh well, it shall arrive on the morrow.
 
i order a NEC 3500 DVD burner on tuesday. Usually they ship the same day, but my order is still at 2 of 5 right now...
 
Got my tracking today... According to FedEx, the item will be here Tuesday next week. 🙁 YAY. Going with someone else next time. My decision would be different if there was something saying "Due to a recent flood your order may take longer than normal" before I pressed the proceed button.

Oh come on. Now you're just being unrealistic. Saying somthing like that would damage business WAY more than losing 1 or 2 customers because they don't understand that problems can occur from time to time.

"Hrm, cool prices, website looks nice. Wait, wtf is this "Our warehouse flooded, so orders may be delayed"? How the hell do you flood a warehouse? *Alt-F4*"

So informing customers is no part of business? Seriously. I was expecting the part this week. Do you know any other company that takes 7 business days to process an order? Didn't think so. If the situation was explained to me, everything would be differrent. I had to come here of all places to find out about the flood. WTF. Hello. They have a main page. Post sh!t on it other than substandard 'deals'.

i have a dozen of them i'd say...i carry one with me all day (NOT in my front pocket though)
It's at least a year old.

i'm pretty sure they're re-fillable
