Hi,
i just brought a Sapphire Atlantis 9700PRO. I chose this cos i came with everything i needed(free version of SOF2), and i liked the heatsink. So i went to the shop, brought it, checked the revision of the board(rev3 doesnt have stuttering probs, or cold boot probs), luckly it was revision3, but the heatsink was the ATI one. It even had the ATI logo on it. The only thing different from an official ATI board was that there was no sticker on the board itself saying ATI.
Also, i got no SOF2. I asked the shop assistant, and he said that thats how sapphire are doing it now. cos its cheaper for them to use a standard heatsink/software/extras bundle. He also said that ATI make their cards, and give them to Sapphire. whata load of B*%^~@:S. Its the other way round.
So in a Sapphire Atlantis 9700PRO box, i got.
a manual with sapphire written on the front.
a driver cd with sapphire written on the front
A S-Video cable
A Composite cable
A S-Video to Composite converter.
A Y-Splitter cable w/floppy connector
A Copy of PowerDVD XP 4.0
The card itself
Im not to conserned, but i would have thought that sapphire would have at least updated their website about the product changes.
