WTF? Best Buy delivery is really this slow?

I ordered some blank CD-R's from Best Buy last sunday with their free shipping and it still hasn't arrived yet. WTF? Even Compusa was faster then this.

Anyone order from Best Buy before? How fast was their shipping? How many days? Thanks.

I ordered a CD from Best Buy back in December (it was a gift; I don't REALLY buy CDs 😛) and it was sent via USPS. Took about 5 days after it was shipped (Priority w/delivery confirmation).

Their free shipping is standard USPS (not priority). I've ordered DVDs from them and they take quite a while to come. I ordered one on a Friday night, I think it came the following thursday.

I ordered Die Another Day last sunday, got the email from BB saying it shipped monday, but I still haven't gotten it yet. It MAY come today, but I'm not holding out too much hope. Most DVDs come from a town about a 1.5 hr drive for me, so I don't understand why they take so long to get here.

I guess they don't ship from a local BB or anything. Too bad their free shipper isn't UPS or anything. Slow as a snail.

I checked the tracking status, it said it was shipped. Their tracking is outdated. It's only up to 6/4 and the tracking is horrible.

You realize that USPS doesn't track your package every step of the way, right?
It was shipped on 06/04, so give it anywhere from 3-10 business days.

BB.com's inventory system is lame, take forEVAR to get a shipment out.

My packages from them have been UPS if I recall.
Oops, that was a 21" monitor(paid too much but got free 2 yr financing! woohoo!), yeah it would have been UPS for that, still their inventory system sucks the big one.

FWIW, my copy of Die Another Day came saturday. 5 days to make trip that takes no more than 1.5 hours. It shipped from Findlay, OH, which is 45 minutes from toledo, which is 45 minutes from me (Most of my mail is routed through Toledo).

Priority mail is the slowest way possible for short trips I think sometimes. But then, I shipped a package from Toledo to Memphis, and they got it the next day. Who knows...
