SHOCKINGGGG!!!!
Fox claims the exit polls are showing a 6-8 percent pro-Democrat bias and they will no longer use the exit polls. Instead they will only use the actual reported vote count.
So first we get electronic voting that has been overwhelmingly documented to be insecure. Then we get no paper trail to check the veracity of the electronic vote.
Then the leading cable news network announces exit polls are biased and won't be used.
So basically Fox is saying we all need to trust the electronic voting system. With no chance for a recount. And no evidence the votes are at least in the ballpark.
This smells to me like a plan put in place if the Dems started to do well.
I fear that the stealing of the Senate and even possibly the House is underway.

So...wait.... you want the election to be determined by the exit polls?

I can't even understand your raving lunacy anymore...

In Indiana, the FBI was investigating allegations that a Democratic volunteer at a Monroe County polling site was found with unprocessed absentee ballots.

By the way...you're right... the stealing of the elections is well underway! You Democrats are so DemoCrazy!

Settle down Beavis...

It doesn't take a genius to compare the actual vote counts to exit polls and realize that the exit polls aren't tracking with the actual votes. And that's not unusual... Exit polls have proven to be highly inaccurate in recent elections. According to exit polls in 2004, Kerry was winning by 20 points at one point. That data didn't come close to any previous polling data prior to the election.

It would be irresponsible to continue reporting exit polling data that doesn't match up with reality. If it's proving unreliable, don't use it. I really don't know what you are so upset about.

Second... Not everyone uses electronic voting machines. I don't like them either but it's not like they are universally used.

It's a partisan hack job to assault Fox News. Fairly pathetic considering Fox News has been lambasted for false projections in the past and this year they refuse to take the heat over those.

I don't trust election polls either, the AP has already proclaimed Ben Cardin a winner over Michael Steele, thats with 5 percent reporting. How can they already proclaim someone a winner? Techs, are you trying to compete with Dave to be the top nut job on P&N? Your posts used to be much more rational, I'm not sure what happened to you.

Well there is a scientific way to do it an a non-scientific way to do it, and from the looks of things Fox's analysis is more sophisticated than your silly "I don't trust exit polls". In the case of Cardin and Steele, the exit polls predicted a rather large Cardin victory...and so far the results are following those results pretty well...so it makes sense to treat the poll as factual. In other places, this is not so much the case. In other words, it's not all black and white.

Steele is still in it and exit polls have been completely inaccurate the past 3 elections. Fox is just giving it to you straight.

They are biased.... last election 5 out of 8 close races were called Dem wins when they actually ended Rep wins.

The founder of exit polls noticed this bias but has no explanation as to why it happens.

There is an explanation.

Most of the exit poll workers were female grad students. And therefore were far more likely to approach other women. I believe the numbers were along the line that 54% of people asked were female, which was 2+% more than actually voted. With that many votes nation wide 2% is huge.

Also, exit poll workers are far more likely to work in inner cities where it is easy to find people to talk to than in rural areas. And of course inner cities go way Democrat, while the suburban and rural areas are generally Republican.

(This is what Rush said, I trust him, he may be a partisan, but he does not tend to lie about factually provable stuff like this.)

This is roughly the same thing that FOX said was their reasoning for ditching the exit poll.

Argue against this:

The exit polls were right on the money this year. 100% accurate.

I watched CNN and MSNBC all evening, and every race they called for one candidate was accurate, even if they called it very early in the evening.

What's the explanation? Simply put, exit polls this year were very, very conservative in nature. They had built-in checks to make sure they erred on the side of caution.

And guess who won? Cardin did.

Show me one instance last night where the polls were wrong?
