When did I miss this???
WTF are they thinking???
The first one was hilarious, the second was pretty funny, but this looks like the same jokes all over again.

What is hollywood coming to?

When they made the first movie, they all signed a contract to make 2 more. Does that explain it? :)

But that's the whole thing that sucks. You'll be seeing the same jokes for the 3rd time over now. And you're already saying that you'll see it (and pay for it, in theory) voluntarily. How has hollywood taken you completely? Have we really reached the point where any sequel will get people to see it just because it's a sequel to an earlier movie?

Gotta take these movies for what they're worth. I thought American Pie 2 was better (funnier) than the first one.

I have to agree on that one.

I agree with that also. It's one thing if AP1 or AP2 had sucked balls, but both were great, and theres no reason yet to think AW will be any less entertaining.

AP2 was just as funny - and the trailer (not the TV spot) for AW looks great too. I'll definitly see it.

How much nudity can we expect in this one? AP1 rocked the nudie factor (mmm Shannon Elizabeth!), AP2 wasn't that great...something tells me there won't be any in AP3 :(...but I guess it'll still be a good movie (Stifler's the best!)

I think I'll be seeing it. American Pie was great and AP2 was just as funny. Just take them for what they are and that's stupid comedies and toilet humor. Don't turn it into an Oscar nominee and just enjoy it. That's what I've done the first two times and that's what I'll do the third.

Uh, what?. The first one became a cult classic and a success, therefore they all decided to do a second one. They were not under contractual obligation to produce 2 more. However, after the 2nd one, Tara Reid, Mena Suvari, and Shannon Elizabeth all firmly stated in Rolling Stone that they would not do a 3rd, hence their not being in the 3rd. Oz (Chris Klein) and Jessica (Natasha Lyonne) will also not appear in the third one.

I for one am looking foward to A.W. - the first two are my all time favorite movies ever.

Ditto that. Was about to say, if they all had signed a contract for 2 sequels, why are half of them not in AW???

I'll wait for DVD. The move lost 90% of it's hotness with no Mena, Shanon, or Tara :( (Michelle is hot in real life, but geeked out in AP/AW, she only accounts for 10%)

Well Nadia did bang the Sherminator....the next morning after she realized what she did she probably committed suicide ;) You're right though - it lost pretty much it's entire female cast. However, the AP series has always been about the guys though.

only one I'll miss is Shannon, but Nikki Ziering should definitely make up for it.
